Good system, needs some polish

I signed up for Striven's ERP Software last month. The integration of accounting and CRM is pretty solid, and it's definitely streamlined some of our processes. I appreciate having everything in one place. My main gripe was with the initial setup; it took a bit longer than I expected to get everything configured right, and the documentation could be clearer. Customer support was helpful when I called, but I wish it was a smoother start from the get-go. Overall, it's a capable platform.

Decent value for HR software

I picked up Striven for their Human Resources Software after checking out a few options. I was looking for something affordable, and their startup pricing was competitive. The Employee Onboarding Tools are good, and it's saving us time there. I went with the annual billing to get that 10% discount, which felt like a smart move. It does what we need it to, and for the price, I can't really complain. I'm happy with the purchase.

Striven changed our business!

We just started using Striven for Project Management Tools and the Mobile Business App and it's been a game changer! Everything is so organized now, and being able to access things on the go with the app is fantastic. Our team is really happy with how much easier it is to track tasks and collaborate. We'll definitely be sticking with Striven for the long haul. Highly recommend!

Is it worth paying yearly for Striven? Or is the monthly price pretty close?

M Mike C. 1 month ago
You get a discount for annual billing, like 10-15% I think. Adds up if you're planning on sticking with it.

Yeah, definitely go annual if you can swing it. It's not a huge difference but it's free money basically.

my non-profit is looking for new software, any chance Striven gives a discount to non-profits?

S Sophie Y. 1 month ago
Yes! They do offer a non-profit discount. I know a couple of orgs that got it, you just need to ask their sales team.

Yep, my friend's charity got a pretty decent rate. Worth reaching out to them directly.

Looking at Striven vs. Zoho One. Anyone have experience with both? Striven looks good but Zoho seems to have a ton of apps.

T Tara Okafor 2 months ago
Zoho's good for a lot of disparate apps, but Striven feels more integrated. If you want everything talking to each other seamlessly, Striven might be better.

I used Zoho before Striven. Zoho felt a bit like duct-taping a bunch of stuff together. Striven is more of a unified platform, but maybe less 'apps' overall, if that makes sense.

Thinking of switching our small biz over to Striven, but we use QuickBooks now. How much of a headache is it to move all our old data over?

B Ben Y. 2 months ago
It's not too bad. I did it a few months ago. They have tools that help with the migration, pretty straightforward.

Yeah, I heard it's doable. Not like a 'hire a consultant' kind of headache if your data isn't super complex. Just follow their guides.

Does Striven offer a free trial, or do you have to commit to a demo first to even try it out?

A Amber D. 1 month ago
They definitely have a free trial, 30 days. You can just sign up on the site.

Yep, 30 days. Enough time to kick the tires and see if it fits.

How long does it take to actually get Striven set up and running for a small team, like 5-10 people? Is it weeks, months?

B Ben L. 2 months ago
Depends on how complex your processes are and how much data you're migrating. For a small team with basic needs, I'd say you could be up and running in a few weeks if you're dedicated.

We're about that size, and it took us maybe 3-4 weeks to get most of our critical stuff migrated and configured. It's not an instant thing, but not months either unless you have really custom stuff.
